Intake Appointments are 75-90 minutes and are a time for me to get to know you and for you to determine whether you would like to work with me. We will discuss your current concerns, your goals for counseling, and some of your pertinent history. All subsequent appointments are 55 minutes in length. However, I offer shorter sessions for those clients who are crunched for time or who need a more budget-friendly approach.

Billing & Insurance
I am a preferred provider for Blue Cross/Blue Shield. I can bill most other insurance companies but please note that reimbursement rates and out-of-pocket fees may vary if I am not an in-network/preferred provider with your insurance. Navigating insurance isn't always easy. You can start by calling the customer service number listed on your insurance card and ask these questions about your policy:
Do I have coverage for outpatient mental health?
Is there a difference in reimbursement for in-network and out-of-network providers?
Are there any limits to coverage? Such as session limits or diagnoses that are not covered?
Do I have a deductible and does it apply to counseling?
